KEY STEPS... FOR SELF-AWARENESS

Adventures to be beneficial we strongly encourage our client’s to pack their curiosity, openness and willingness to reflect in a nonjudgmental manner of self. Key steps, for businesses that employ coaching as part of leadership development the coaching process , includes:

STEP 1 - THE CLIENT

​

1. self nominates or is nominated by your organizations’ leadership to participate in the coaching process, 

​

2. with input from the organization’s leadership or designee, establishes initial goals for the coaching, 

​

3. completes style surveys and review results with coach to understand personal orientations.

​

​

STEP 2 - THE CLIENT

​

Coach collects input from key organizational stakeholders and provides feedback to the Client.

​

​

STEP 3 - COACH AND CLIENT

​

1. revisit initial goals and establish the development plan and goals for coaching,

​

2. work together in coaching sessions on these goals, between which the Client will implement what is learned in those sessions;

​

3. evaluate work together and celebrate accomplishments or re-calibrate,  if necessary.

​

STEP 4

​

The Client prepares a summary of learning and growth and, if nominated by organizational leadership, prepares feedback to their leadership.

​

​

STEP 5

​

Coach and Client establish follow up after designated period to assess impact of the coaching.

​

Coaching helps to clarify priorities that lead to shifts and motivation to accomplish goals through well thought out strategies. Such inspirational learning allows for sustained and disciplined approaches for future endeavors. Essentially, being open and reflective, leads to the self-awareness, necessary to take hold of your destiny. Therefore what you should look for in us, your coach, is:

1. acute listening, asking powerful questions and enhancing your self awareness,

​

2. ability to take a system perspective to help you better understand self in context of organizational challenges,

​

3. a willingness to partner with you to build trust and shared responsibility for the work combined effort of introspection and coaching,

​

4. support of you in challenging situations,

​

5. capacity to provide challenging feedback in a non-judgmental way,

​

6. an understanding of organizations—for profit or nonprofit;

​

7. proficiency in the data gathering, analysis and feedback process.
